Hello friends and welcome to the 99th All About Home Link Party! I hope you all have had a wonderful Fourth of July Holiday Weekend! I love patriotic decor and celebrations! We spent a “quiet” (if you can call the Fourth of July quiet!) evening at home with our annual “big time” fireworks show for the neighborhood kids. We always let off a few small fireworks and wave sparklers to traditional patriotic marching band music by John Phillip Sousa blaring in the background on my cell phone. It’s ridiculously “cheesy” and as a result, it’s always funny and everyone gets a kick out of it!
The best part of the holiday weekend was this delicious salad especially made by my 16 year old son, who has a knack for cooking and plans to attend culinary school after high school. Yummy! His candied pecans and tart homemade raspberry vingrette were delicious! He won’t let me share his recipes yet, ha ha!
Even though the holiday is over, I still enjoy seeing the red, white and blue all the way through labor day since it creates such an “All-American Summer ” feeling. Of course I love being inspired by all the other summer projects and recipes everyone shares here at the party. As always, I am excited you have stopped by and I am looking forward to all the summery inspo!
Debra and I love getting together each week to host this fun party! I am happy that Debra will be briefly joining us again this evening to say “hello” as she is healing up from back surgery. She is still really having to take it easy but she is getting up and around a bit so that is an improvement. Let’s continue to be in prayer together for her speedy and full recovery! Before moving on with the party, here’s what we have been up to:
Give a Book a New Look! Scrap Paper DIY Book Cover and Ribbon Book Mark
Earlier today I shared how I gaved a used book a new look with old scap paper (calender pages). I just love my “new” book all about butteflies!
This coming weekend we are headed to the beach! Now that the Fourth of July is over, I have all things coastal on my mind. Here’s a throwback to an older post all about Easy Breezy Coastal Cottage Style.
Debra shared her Patriotic Greetings from the Garden Room. I just can’t get enough of Debra’s Patriotic Decor!
Now here’s some fabulous features from last week’s party:
Fourth of July Fun Home and Decor Encore~A Stroll Thru Life
Sammy’s Star Spangled Banner~Tee Diddly Dee
How to Make a Grapevine Wreath~Cloches and Lavender
Thanks to everyone who visited last week. Enjoy the party!
