All About Home Link Party #98

All About Home Blogger Link Party Home Decor Party

Happy Monday everyone, and welcome to the 98th All About Home Link Party! Can you believe how fast summer is flying by? The Fourth of July is NEXT WEEK! There are so many crafts, recipes, gardening and home decor summer projects to try out… and so little time! I went to Hobby Lobby for the first time since spring and FALL decorations were out. UGH. I love fall but I am just now getting into summer! The first day of summer was actually just a week ago. Fall can wait a bit!

I always look forward to taking the time each week to slow down and catch up with everyone here at the party to share what I have been up to and see what everyone else has been doing too. It finally stopped raining, so I have been spending almost all my free time in the garden. Now it is getting way too hot, so I will be spending more time indoors which might mean a little more time to try out some of the fabulous ideas shared here at the party!

Debra and I love getting together each week to host this fun party! I am happy that Debra will be briefly joining us again this evening to say “hello” as she is healing up from back surgery. She is still really having to take it easy, so let’s continue to be in prayer together for her speedy and full recovery! Before moving on with the party, here’s what we have been up to:

DIY Vintage Copper Patina Dollar Store Garden Stake Makeover

DIY Vintage Copper Garden Stake (Easy Dollar Store Hummingbird Hack)

Earlier today I shared how I transformed a “Ho-hum-hummingbird” from the dollar store into a “vintage” copper garden stake! Check out my post to see how I came up with the end look by experimenting with different paints.

I have been spending most of my time in the garden, but we also have another mini-renovation going on! My brother is helping us transform the little side “mud entry” off the kitchen into more of a “mini-mudroom.” More details coming up later this week!

DIY Farmhouse American Flags using vintage chair spindles upcyled chair spindle American Flags

I haven’t started decorating for the Fourth of July indoors due to all the mess with the mud entry reno, but I did get around to adding some flags to my ferns and buntings to my porch and patio outside. For now, here’s a throwback to some indoor patriotic decor and my favorite Upcycled Vintage Chair Spindle Farmhouse American Flags post for some extra patriotic inspiration.
