All About Home Link Party #91

All About Home Blogger Link Party Home Decor Party

Hello and welcome to the 91st All About Home Link Party! I hope everyone had a wonderful and blessed Mother’s Day! It was rainy here, but I still managed to enjoy a tiny bit of gardening time in between the storms. I enjoyed just spending some time walking around enjoying what is currently in bloom and making mental notes of gardening goals that I hope to achieve throughout the rest of spring and on into summer.

I also enjoyed my neighbor’s beautiful spring garden. She planted poppies from seed last year, and we are both excited that her first poppy bloomed this week! Are you busy with spring gardening, or are you focusing more on indoor spring cleaning, crafting, cooking and decorating? I am excited to see what everyone shares this week and to hear from you!

Debra and I are thrilled to be your hosts each week! We love to inspire and be inspired by you too. Here is what we have been up to recently:

The weather hasn’t really been cooperating, but I have been getting in as much gardening as possible on my free time. Earlier today I shared my Early May Garden Update.

Deck Inspiration: Design, Maintenance and Upgrades

Last week I shared a deck inspiration post with tips for design, maintenance and upgrades. My husband was planning to build a deck this summer, but after checking the current lumber prices there is NO WAY that will be happening until the prices drop! Due to the pandemic, current lumber prices are almost triple what they were last year. Still, this post has plenty of ideas for sprucing up our current small deck on the side of our house in preparation for summer.

Debra shared so many creative ideas for Using Cabinets and Cupboards in Vintage Decor.

Now here are some beautiful features from last week’s party!

Amber, I am excited for your neighbor whose poppies bloomed in their first year from seed! That is not an easy feat. I have always had to dig up spent blooming plants and transplant to get them to bloom. Love the spring we are having, and even though we have lots of rain, it’s been a lingering spring, and for that I’m grateful. I’ve gotten in some great vintage shopping in spite of Covid, and have assembled a virtual shopping trip in my post this week. Thanks for hosting us, and I hope you have a wonderful week.

We are with you on postponing a deck project. Our deck boards are very worn and our plan was to replace all of them this spring. We’re going to wait with the hope that prices will be lower next year.
