Happy Monday and welcome to the 62nd All About Home Link Party! I am feeling under the weather today so I taught virtually from home while taking easy. I am ready to relax for the rest of the evening while checking out all of the great ideas at tonight’s party. I am so glad you are here to party with us during this most wonderful time of the year…the “Fallidays!)
Even if I am feeling “under the weather” and it is raining today, I must say that it has been just gorgeous fall weather overall this year. The leaves are just changing, so the vibrant trees are popping among what is left of verdant greens in the forest and landscape. Take a look at the views from my front yard!
Debra and I are thrilled to be your hosts, especially during FALL! We both love all things autumn! Before moving on with the link up, here’s what we have been up to recently:
On Saturday I joined some very talented home and garden bloggers for an inspiring tour full of fabulous fall garden ideas hosted by Stacy of Bricks ‘n Blooms. I shared how I have been Enjoying Fall in the Garden.
Kitchen Makeover Update
The past two weeks have been spent on the last big part of the kitchen makeover, the “antique” built in cabinetry/butler’s pantry. I am so excited with how it is turning out! I lucked into some 1920’s wavy glass pantry doors that will really give the cabinets the “original” look I was hoping for. It is taking some time to get them to hang properly since they are so old and the original hinges won’t work, but as of today one of them is in place! It looks like we are on target for having a completed new kitchen just in time for Thanksgiving!
This past week I painted the doors white and now they look even more “20’s style!” It is taking some time to get them to hang properly since they are so old and the original hinges won’t work, but as of today at least one of them is in place! After the built in is finished we will FINALLY grout the brick floor and that will be the final-final-final (hopefully!) big project. It looks like we are on target for having a completed new kitchen just in time for Thanksgiving! Here you can also get a peek of our “new look for the kitchen nook!” I am loving my new windows and window seat!

Hope you feel better quickly! Thanks for hosting despite being under the weather.
October 19, 2020 at 7:09 pmI remember Yvonne’s Indian corn wreath very well. I sure hope how you’re feeling is something that goes away with rest and nothing more. Everything is so scary.
October 19, 2020 at 7:13 pmI love all the foliage. I remember Ivonne’s wreath. Funny, I just bought small corn to make this wreath for next fall.
Thanks so much for the feature. Hope you enjoy my FB Marketplace find.

The flint corn wreath is gorgeous. I should’ve thought of that! I like the term “fallidays.” I’ll have to use it this week.
