Hello and welcome to the 4oth All About Home link party! I can’t believe we are celebrating this milestone already! When Debra and I started this fun party back in August, little did we know how important it would become in less than a year’s time. Being able to gather with friends each week during the pandemic has created a sense of normalcy and peace during an uncertain time. Of course, seeing all of the inspiration and beauty each week has been a healing balm as well. As always, I am thankful you are here to party with us, and I look forward to what will be shared at the party this week!
As our kitchen renovation moves forward, I find myself becoming a bit indecisive over a few things. I am not sure if it’s reluctance to spend money given the current state of world affairs, or just that I love so many different looks that it’s hard for me to make big decorating decisions. One thing is for certain—I will definitely be adding vintage cottage style to the kitchen, incorporating elements of French Country, farmhouse and English Country style. I enjoy learning more about each of these styles and pinning inspiration for the future. This weekend I shared a post on How to Achieve the English Country Kitchen Look as I was gathering ideas. I just love a cozy kitchen!
“Badehotellet” Period Drama Inspiration: Vintage Nordic Nautical Style
Recently I discovered an absolutley fabulous 1920’s-30’s period drama, Badehotellet. Check out my post to find out more about this beautiful show that will put you in the mood for a seaside vacation or to do a little bit of vintage nautical decorating for summer.
This week our neighborhood looks so beautiful as nature puts on its late spring show. Tomorrow I will be sharing some beautiful photos that I took on one of my recent walks.
Spring Vintage on the Baker’s Rack
Debra shared some of her vintage spring goodies on her baker’s rack. I always love how she decorates it for the seasons. I am so happy that her surgery went well and that she is back to partying with us this week!
