Happy DECEMBER, and welcome to Thursday Favorite Things! I am thrilled to be joining Katherine at Katherine’s Corner and wonderful group of bloggers in celebrating the beginning of my fourth year as a co-hostess for this fantastic weekly link party for bloggers and blog readers too!
If you are looking to grow your blog, make new friends, and or simply to be inspired each week, this is the place to be! *Bloggers: If you would like a chance to be featured, please leave a comment with the number of your link up. We can’t wait to see what you have to share this week! (If you missed the last party and the AMAZING features, you can find it here.) To get the party started, let’s take a look at what I have been up to recently:
On Friday I shared more of our Vintage-Traditional Christmas Home Tour and a New Festive Kitchen! I am so happy with how our kitchen turned out. I designed it with Christmas in mind, so I think it really has the Christmas vibe I was going for.
The tour was hosted by Marty of A Stroll Thru Life and featured 30 fabulous homes all last week. There was a wide variety of styles represented and a little bit of something for everyone to enjoy on the tours.
Yesterday I shared my Plaid Drawstring Gift Sack Christmas Pillow Hack (N0-Sew!)
“Throwback Thursday”
For this week’s “Throwback Thursday” I am sharing an older post on Creating a Cozy Christmas with Vintage Christmas Vignettes

Merry Christmas, Amber. Thank you so very much for honoring my post here with your features. I’m always a big ol’ mess at Christmas (and not the charming kind of hot mess!) because I feel things so deeply, and this year is no exception. I noticed in your bio on the blog’s sidebar you use the word ‘remaking’ and it is striking a chord mysteriously with me. I’m going to live with it and see where it takes me because just like ‘relearning’ it beckons me to let something new be born…like Christmas. I’m sharing a prayer at #127 with the hope it will welcome comfort, stillness, receptivity, and a spirit of unknowing to all who pray it. xox
