Spring Into Summer with Inspiring Ideas at Thursday Favorite Things

Happy May and welcome to Thursday Favorite Things! I am thrilled to be joining Katherine at Katherine’s Corner and wonderful group of bloggers for my third year as a co-hostess for this fantastic weekly link party for bloggers and blog readers too!

If you are looking to grow your blog, make new friends, and or simply to be inspired each week, this is the place to be! *Bloggers: If you would like a chance to be featured, please leave a comment with the number of your link up. We can’t wait to see what you have to share this week! (If you missed the last party you can find it here.)???? To get the party started, let’s take a look at what I have been up to recently:

English Country Cottage Kitchens English Kitchen Style

As our kitchen renovation moves forward, I find myself becoming a bit indecisive over a few things. I am not sure if it’s reluctance to spend money given the current state of world affairs, or just that I love so many different looks that it’s hard for me to make big decorating decisions. One thing is for certain—I will definitely be adding vintage cottage style to the kitchen, incorporating elements of French Country, farmhouse and English Country style. I enjoy learning more about each of these styles and pinning inspiration for the future. This weekend I shared a post on How to Achieve the English Country Kitchen Look as I was gathering ideas. I just love a cozy kitchen!

Late spring flowers irises salvia beautiful flowers in spring

This time of year our neighborhood is just gorgeous as everything is almost fully bloomed out and late spring flowers, trees and shrubs are putting on a glorious show. Recently I shared some photos of a few of my favorite spots along my walks up and down our street that I think you will enjoy.

Beautiful features, Amber. I need TFT to get me motivated and moving! I’m partying with you today at #151 and 152, bringing calm and serenity and liberal doses of white to the gathering. Thanks so much for hosting and providing a pocket of peace and creativity in the midst of so much disorder. The little things truly do matter, and all the little kindnesses aren’t so little after all. Peace to you, friend.
