Welcome! This weekend I happened to stop by Target to pick up a few Christmas gifts and I had a chance to take a look at the new Hearth & Hand With Magnolia line that everyone is talking about over on Instagram and in the decor world. I really liked some of the new products and wanted to share them with you today. If you are a Fixer Upper enthusiast, here are some “must-haves” that I think you will love! (This post contains affiliate links for your shopping convenience.)
If you are unfamiliar with the new line, here is the description from the Target website:
There are so many new products in the collection throughout several categories including Kitchen and Dining, Holiday, Furniture, Party Supplies, Toys, Accessories and Furniture.
With Thanksgiving coming up, I wanted to check out all the kitchen and cooking items first. Although I decorate primarily through vintage and thrifted finds, I like to incorporate a few new (vintage/farmhouse style) accent pieces to my home to keep things fresh and updated. This year I added black decorative accents to my kitchen so I was excited to see all the black in the Hearth And Hand line. I love French touches in my decor, so this French Grain Stripe Kitchen Towel is perfect for blending a bit of modern farmhouse with French farmhouse. It is actually cream and black which is just what I need for my kitchen. Of course you can never have too many dish towels on hand for all the holiday cooking! I am definitely going to be purchasing at least one of these at only $3.99!
Okay, so maybe I will have to buy two of them! Loving the green/ ivory striped kitchen towel too.
Green is actually my favorite color, and plaid is my favorite textile pattern (next to grain stripe) so I was excited to see all the black and green plaid products in the new Hearth And Hand line! Aren’t these Woven Plaid Placemats so classic and affordable at only $4.99 each? They are definitely holiday must-haves!
The placemats will work for more traditional and vintage cottage decor or of course modern Farmhouse house and Fixer Upper style as seen below.
This Fabric Ribbon Plaid Gross Grain green/black is just amazing too! How beautiful it would be to have a Christmas tree in a dining room decked with this ribbon right next to a farm table with those awesome place mats!
There are several new throw pillows in the Hearth & Hand line. The Green Plaid Throw Pillow is my favorite.
Here are a few more really cute pillows too. The Merry Christmas Embroidered Throw Pillow is simple and adorable! I also am loving the cottage farmhouse style Lamb Ear and White Berry Garland shown here. The garland is from the Magnolia Forever Green Decor Collection which is really awesome! Whether decking the hall or gracing the table, it adds a touch of farmhouse Christmas greenery as a beautiful alternative to traditional pine.
This pretty Artificial Lamb Ear/White Berry Wreath can easily transition through all the seasons with the addition of some floral accent picks, but I love it especially for Christmas. So simple and elegant!
Many of the elements in the new Hearth and Hand line are so classic!
So far I have shared quite a few Hearth & Hand items on the holiday must-haves list. For me, extra ornaments are absolute holiday must-haves! I always use a lot of green bulbs in various shades in my Christmas decor, so I think this Solid/Herringbone Ornament Set in green might end up among the hoards! When it comes to ornaments, the more, the merrier Christmas… am I right?
I had originally intended to create this post mainly to introduce the new line, but it seems like I am racking up quite a little wish list of my own here! This adorable Mailbox Letters To Santa Ornament reminded me that I better hurry up and send off my Magnolia Hearth And Home wish list because Christmas will be here before we know it!
Just like that it will be time to hang the stockings by the chimney with care! Although I have a more shabby-vintage, traditional, and French/European Christmas decor style, many of these “Fixer Upper Style” products can still work in my home for Christmas. This fun Plaid Pom Holiday Stocking may not be hung by the chimney, but I think it would look super cute in my farmhouse-cottage style kitchen where I use a lot of vintage red and white Christmas decorations.
To close this little round up of my Magnolia “Hearth And Hand Fixer Upper Style Holiday Must-Haves,” I will end with my absolute favorite product in the line, a beautiful Fixer Upper style Wooden Doll House!
A Special Opportunity To Help A Child In Need :
When it comes to Christmas, I am a little girl at heart! I just love this sweet doll house! Do I need it? No! I already have two vintage doll houses! However, some special child would be so happy to wake up to find this amazing dollhouse on Christmas morning! Almost every year I see “dollhouse” on the Giving Tree wanted list. While preparing this post I came up with the idea to take donations via Paypal to raise money to purchase this doll house for one needy child in our local school district!
The cost of the dollhouse is $129.99, and if just a few of my bloggy friends or readers would like to contribute that would be amazing! I am shooting for 10 friends to donate $10.00 and I will take care of the rest! If you are interested in pitching in, just email me or leave a comment below or you can donate today through PayPal at the end of this post.
Once the doll house has been purchased and delivered to the school ( I will personally contribute some new dolls and furniture) each contributor will receive an email notification from the local school district’s family resource center confirming that they have received the dollhouse and that it will be delivered to a child in need. This is just an idea I had while preparing this post, so I decided to follow my heart and go with it!
Well I hope you have enjoyed this introduction to the new Magnolia Hearth And Hand line at Target! Although I do not consider myself to be a big fan of Fixer Upper style, there are some really nice products in this new line that I would definitely be able to work into my home. I am actually heading back to Target in few days to pick up some of those kitchen towels which will be so handy for preparing and cleaning up Thanksgiving dinner. With that in mind, I am off to Pinterest to get some recipe inspiration!
If you are still looking for Thanksgiving recipes, you can also check out the Grateful Gatherings Blog Hop in case you missed it. Several recipes were shared on the amazing hop which you can find starting with my Thanksgiving Kitchen Tour, and following the hop links listed at the end of my post which will take you on to the other fabulous posts!
So have any of you checked out the Magnolia Hearth & Hand line already? What do you think? Let’s talk Christmas decor and more!
