Spring to Summer Inspiration at Thursday Favorite Things

Happy spring, and welcome to Thursday Favorite Things! I am thrilled to celebrate my fourth year co-hosting this fabulous weekly link party for bloggers and blog readers with Katherine of Katherine’s Corner and a fantastic group of bloggers!

If you would like to make some new friends,  grow your blog audience, or just find some weekly inspiration, this is the place to be! *Bloggers: Please leave a comment with the number of your link up for a chance to be featured at next week’s party. The hosts are all looking forward to what you’ll share this week! (If you missed the last party and the AWESOME features, you’ll find it here.)  To get the party started, here’s what I have been up to:

I had a wonderful Mother’s Day weekend! My son Liam made suprised me for brunch with a fantastic allergy-friendly chickpea salad (so good!) Notice the fresh parsley on top?

The parsely was snipped from the giant parsley tower in my kitchen cottage garden area! This particular parsley plant was a straggler I just stuck in the ground because I was out of room in my raised beds. It took off! I just decided to let it grow and flower for pollinators. The young leaves at the bottom are still tasty for culinary purposes. If you have clay soil like I do and struggle to get some plants to grow, obviously parsley doesn’t mind the clay!

English Country Cottage Kitchens English Kitchen Style

I have been falling head over heels (again) with my old love of English Country decor and can’t get enough inspo for English and European cottage style inspo in Pinterest and in magazines. I have been working to incorporate more of these vibes into my own home, especially in the kitchen. Recently I I updated an old post with some fresh ideas for creating a English Country Kitchen.

Now here are some beautiful features from last week’s party!

Thanks for another fun gathering Amber. I love chick peas and that salad your son made looks super yummy. The best is using the herbs from your garden. Have a great week and I’m @ #56, 57 & 58 this week. XO- MaryJo
