Hello friends and welcome back for another post in my Pin Away Wednesdays series! With Thanksgiving just over a week away and the holiday season beginning, I thought it would be the perfect time to share some highlights from my Christmas Crafts and Holiday DIYS Pinterest board. There are so many amazing pins that it was hard to narrow them down for this post, but here’s a few favorites:
Dried Orange Slices Garland~Red Ted Art
Ever since I was a little girl and sold oranges during the holidays as a fundraiser for cheerleading, I have thought of them as more of a Christmas than summer fruit. We always had bowls of fresh oranges around our home for the holidays and I loved snacking on them. Now that I am older I use fragrant, fresh oranges in my fall and holiday decorating, I also love natural and colonial style Christmas decorations like pretty dried orange slices garlands and cloved orange pomanders. To see how I decorate with them for the holidays, you can check out my Christmas Home Tour from last year.

As a music teacher and vintage lover, I am in LOVE with these cute diy Sheet Music Ornaments, which also incorporate images from The Graphics Fairy. I may actually make some of these ornaments this coming weekend!
Scrapbook
I am always picking up little picture frames on my junkin’ adventures, often for less than a dollar. I have a few in my craft stash so I plan to make some ornaments using images from the Graphics Fairy, old Christmas cards, or wrapping paper scraps I have saved. I also have plenty of old buttons, jewelry pieces and ribbons for embellishments.

I am totally smitten by yarn and ribbon Christmas trees! I plan to make some soon, so be looking for that post coming up on the blog during the holidays.
