Happy July and welcome to Thursday Favorite Things! I am so excited to be co-hosting this fabulous party with Katherine of Katherine’s Corner and a fantastic group of bloggers for this inspiring weekly link party for bloggers and blog readers!
If you would like to make some new friends, grow your blog audience, or just find some weekly inspiration, this is the place to be! *Bloggers: Please leave a comment with the number of your link up for a chance to be featured at next week’s party. The hosts are all looking forward to what you’ll share this week! (If you missed the last party and the AWESOME features, you’ll find it here.) To get the party started, here’s what I have been up to recently:
We returned from a wonderful and relaxing beach vacation on Saturday, but I have to admit that I am still on beach time! It is hard to get back into the swing of things after not having any real responsibilities for a week!
The Treasures of the Sea Mermaid Garden I made when I returned from the beach a couple of years ago perfectly captures my sentiments while at the beach and after I returned home…
Nevertheless, there are a few fun indoor and outdoor projects going on around here that have provided little bit of motivation and excitement to help with the “after vacation blues.” I am excited to get back into a more regular blog routine and I some fun posts lined up for the rest of summer and into early fall.
Mni-Mudroom Makeover Update
I was so suprised when we returned from the beach to see all the wonderful progress that my brother had made on our “mini-mudroom entry makeover!” The beadboard, board and batten and floor makeover is coming right along. Check out my Mini-Mudroom Part 2: Woodwork and Floor update for all the details.
“Throwback Thursday”
In addition to reading and relaxing on the beach, I was able to do some fun junkin’ while on vacation. I visited my favorite shop in Wilmington, Vintage Marketplace and found some beautiful items. Here is a throwback post from my first visit a few years ago that will give you some ideas of the treasures in this amazing store. Later this week I will share some of my fabulous French summer finds from this shop and a few other antiques stores I visited on our trip!
Now it’s time for some beautiful features from last week’s party!
