Here’s what I have been up to:

This week has been wonderful having our son home from college for just a few short days before heading to Newport, Rhode Island for a summer internship at a beautiful bed and breakfast. I took a break from blogging, decorating and gardening just to be present with him this week.

Here is photo of us in New York last week where the daffodils are still going strong and the forysythia is in it’s full glory. Our daffs and forstythia finished up about three weeks ago so it was nice to get to see my favorite spring flowers still in full bloom up north.

Once we get him moved to RI and things settle into a more normal routine again, I plan to make a pretty May Day basket for my new neighbor!  Check out my post for some beautiful ideas not only for May Day, but Mother’s Day too.
