Merry Christmas Eve dear friends! I am just quickly hopping on the blog to share a post with some photos of our dining room in the evening and at night with twinkling christmas lights and candles, while focusing on the true meaning of Christmas. I invite you to celebrate the birth of Jesus with me…the light of the world. Oh come, let us adore him, Christ the Lord!
Isaiah 9:2 The people that walked in darkness have seen a great light: they that dwell in the land of the shadow of death, upon them hath the light shined.
John 1: 5~ The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.
Matthew 1:23 ~Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.
Isaiah 9:6 ~ For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counselor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.
John 3:17 ~ For God did not send his son to condemn the world, but that the world through him might be saved.
John 8:12 ~Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.
I pray you and your family have a blessed and Merry Christmas Eve and Christmas Day!

Merry Christmas to you and your family, Amber. Always such a joy to see your beautiful home. I wish I had 1 tenth of the talent you have for displaying treasures. Christmas here in Maine was cold with only remnants of snow; Al fell last week and spent 5 days in an overcrowded ER with little care after a fall and time laying in the snow–mild frostbite in his knees. Came home as there were no hospital or rehab beds available. I put him right to work as I was way behind without his help! He followed directions to make crockpot mac and cheese while I did prep and washed dishesthis morning–Christmas dinner with his family, Christmas Eve at my daughter’s and family, and my son. Quiet, but very nice; the way I prefer it!
