    Hello dear readers and friends! I am so happy to be participating in the Thrifty Chicks June Challenge! This month’s theme is garden art. I have always used pieces of salvage or vintage junkin’ finds as repurposed garden art. I often style garden vignettes just like my indoor vignettes and think of them as works of art! One of my favorite projects is this DIY repurposed vintage dishes bird feeder. This is not a totally unique and new idea for garden art, but I had been wanting to make one forever and I had plenty of extra vintage dishes in my hoards to play around with. It is however a one of a kind work of art, created by me for my mom as a gift. Read more

     Gorgeous coral roses farmhouse dining room patriotic farmhouse decor

    This past Friday my husband and I celebrated our 17th anniversary! He surprised me with these gorgeous coral roses, and we spent the morning doing a little junkin’. I found a beautiful shabby urn which I have used as a vase for my roses. Last week I also found an amazing, antique ironstone blue transferware platter, just in time for summer vignettes. Read more
