Happy November and welcome to TFT! This is now my sixth year co-hosting this fabulous weekly link party for bloggers and blog readers with Katherine of Katherine’s Corner and a fantastic group of bloggers!
NOTE: The party time has changed to 9:00 a.m. MDT (11:00 EST).
If you are looking for inspiration, want to share new ideas or make new friends, you’ve come to the right place!
Here’s what I have been up to!
- It has been just a little over a year since we moved in so our house was in desperate need of “deep cleaning” of closets, cabinets bathrooms, walls and floors in preparation for holiday decorating.
- Faux Finishing our 98 year old front door and side lights on the interior side, (previous painted white) to look like real wood. I was in one of those moods to just get it done and didn’t take any photos of the process, but you will see the end results soon!
- My husband added the crown molding to the tops of our built in kitchen cabinets and they look fabulous! He also finished covering the top of our crumbling brick hearth in the foyer. This gave me the inclination to do a little redocorating of the foyer, but I wasn’t sure what to do… THEN…
- I hit an an unexpected estate sale on Wednesday and found THIS gorgeous antique cabinet. Or at least it will be gorgeous when I give it a makeover.
I will take some pictures of all the progress and share this weekend!
