Hello friends! Did you get a chance to check out my Cottage Bedroom Reveal that I shared as part of the Beautiful Bedrooms Tour? Because I only had about two weeks to get the room ready for the tour, I didn’t have a chance to do any posts about the progress as I went along, so today I am going to show you my quick and easy bedroom makeover. *This post contains affiliate links.
Happy Kentucky Derby Day! As a lifelong Kentucky resident I love the history and culture of our great state. The historic Kentucky Derby and beautiful horse country is perhaps what Kentucky is best known for.
Welcome back friends to my Junkin’ Finds series! It has been a while since I have shared some junkin’ finds, so today I wanted to show you some shabby chic garden treasures I scored this weekend at a community rummage sale. A cast iron candleabra complete with drippy candles, two beautiful ivory mini-urns with perfect patina, and a sweet garden bunny had to come home with me!
As a vintage decorator I have a major pet peeve…technology! That’s a pretty big issue considering we live in a tech based society, and I am a blogger. It’s not that I don’t like the convenience of technology, but modern tech devices and cords cluttering things up just don’t compliment vintage decor! I am on a major de-cluttering and organizing kick, so I have been looking for specific ways to organize and hide technology in a vintage style home. *This post contains affiliate links.
Welcome back everyone! It’s a rainy Sunday and I am relaxing with some hot tea and just doing some interior design dreaming. I am in one of those phases where my interior decorating style is starting to evolve, “grow up,” or become more refined, although it is not necessarily changing. Everyone has a different sense of style, but mine has never fit neatly into one category, unless “Vintage” can be called an overall design style. After 25 years as a home owner, I still always swoon for romantic cottage and shabby chic rooms with French influence, even if I don’t go overboard with that look in my home today.
Matthew 28:6- He is not here: for he is risen, as he said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay.
Happy Easter everyone! I hope you have had a beautiful and blessed holiday. Tonight I am sharing a quick post of this older vignette highlighting one of my sweet, vintage Easter postcards, and sending you joyful Easter wishes too!
