Well friends, here we are just one week away from Thanksgiving and the start of the holiday season! I have been working on my Thanksgiving tablescape and adding lots of festive touches that will easily transition from Thanksgiving to Christmas. Last night I was thinking that I wanted to use cranberries and sage in my holiday decor, so I decided to make a beautiful, fresh and fragrant garland for my chandelier in the dining room.
It’s almost the middle of September, and I am going fall crazy over here! Today I spent the day chalk painting pumpkins and in between drying times I have been decorating for the Harvest Home Blog Hop which begins next Tuesday! This coming Saturday I am going junkin’ at the Country Living Fair, which means I won’t be able to do any crafting or decorating that day, so I am really rushing to get things ready now! I wanted to use the burlap pumpkins in some vignettes for the tour, so I hustled and finished some today and I am so glad I did. Now I am excited to show you how you can make some DIY shabby vintage burlap pumpkins too. They turned out so pretty and even though I have tons of other things to do, I am heading back to Dollar Tree tomorrow to buy a few more. Just take a look at these beauties!
