After panicking that my passport wasn’t going to come in in time, all is well and am back to being busy I am busy packing and planning our itinerary which will includes some amazing castles and views, like the stunning Dunnottar Castle ruins in Stonehaven, Scotland near Aberdeen. I have waited since I was a teenager for this trip!!!!

My husband and I also cleaned out the storage building that we have  been renting for  a year and a half,  Most of the stuff in there was just junk but I did find some thingsI had been missing like my great grandmother’s china. I am going to try to share a quick post about the china this week.

We won’t be in the states for the 4th of July which is going to be kind of strange. I am putting up my porch  banner this weekend so we can still some festive patriotic spirit with the neighborhood while we are gone. Here is a link to last year patriotic porch that I really enjoyed. I will be doing something similar this year.
