All About Home Link Party #66

All About Home Blogger Link Party Home Decor Party

Hello and welcome to the 66th All About Home Link Party! With Thanksgiving just a little over a week a way and Christmas just around the corner, it’s the perfect time to get together to celebrate and share things that are All About Home! The inspiration is just amazing and the positive vibes here are much needed for us all! Thank you so much for stopping by each week to join in the fun. I am excited to see what everyone shares this week and to hear from you, my friends!

Debra and I are thrilled to be your hosts, especially this time of year. Thanksgiving is our shared favorite holiday and we are both Christmas crazy! After partying here be sure to swing by Common Ground to see Debra’s features too. Before moving on with the link up, here’s what we have been up to recently:

On Saturday I joined my friend Cindy of County Road 407 and several vintage loving blogging friends for the our periodic Lifestyle of Love Blog Hop. Our theme was “frames” and ideas for using them in crafts and decor. Being a long time frame collector, this was was right up my alley! I shared how I use some of my favorite vintage and antique frames around our home.  Check out my post for lots of ideas and for links to all the other creative bloggers’ posts featuring frames.

Junkin' Finds a Pair of Prim Pilgrims Thanksgiving Primitives

For last week’s Throwback Thursday (at Thursday Favorite Things) I am shared the adorable primitive pilgrims I scored at a consignment shop just a couple of weeks before Thanksgiving last year. You might enjoy checking out this post not only for the pilgrims and farmhouse Thanksgiving ideas, but also to see the differences in our kitchen corner nook from this time last year to the photos I shared in my Thanksgiving Kitchen post this past Saturday. I loved the cute nook, but the changes and updates we have made were definitely for the best!

It was another busy weekend at our house, finishing up the last details in the kitchen. The only thing we have left to do is build the island and paint and install the antique plantation shutters on the windows in the nook! I also added a few more Thanksgiving touches, like my favorite turkey tureen on the stove.

He’s not vintage but I have had him since my sons were little, so he is sentimental.  I meant to share this picture in my post about frames but I completely forgot. I am still not used to having a kitchen that I want to blog about! The antique frame here adds a little vintage and architectural interest and sort of “frames” whatever cutting board vignette I create.

Don’t worry, I move the frame to a safe spot when it’s time to cook!
